It appears the CFHTTP call is completely failing not allowing even the most basic of API calls to be performed. http://bit.ly/fy4nSl
For giggles, I even copied out the CFHTTP call into a fresh .cfm page and hard-coded VERIFIED credentials, and still got this error. I tried using both the token as well as the actual basecamp username/password.
Finally, the nail in the coffin was when I verified that CURL using the SAME credentials is working fine and returned my data.

This seems to fix the CFHTTP call....
